Currently we are searching for a Licensed Service Technician for our Southeast Calgary branch to work on their Afternoon shift.
As a Licensed Service Technician, you would be responsible for the maintenance, repairing and troubleshooting of company and customer equipment. Being a service technician at TEN you would work on various of equipment; from Dry Vans, Reefers, Heaters, Flat Beds, Chassis, specialized equipment haulers, livestock haulers, tankers and company owned service vehicle.

Requirements:

  • Journeyman Transport Trailer Technician
  • CVIP License (Preferred)
  • Body Repair Experience (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of shop safety principles and behaviours
  • Interest in and aptitude for mechanical work
  • Ability to assess, diagnosis and repair; ensure work on trailers is completed as ‘Quality work’
  • Basic knowledge of ABS diagnostic software
  • Good written and oral communication
  • Computer skills, Microsoft Office 365; Enrich/ Mechanical Software an ( assets)
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Works well with others; team player
  • Ability to lift up to 85 lbs
  • Ability to regularly stand, walk, kneel, sit, bend down and reach up and talk or hear
  • Frequently required to use hands to feel, handle or reach
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
  • May be exposed to noise, vibration, grease, oil, gasoline, exhaust fumes and odours
