Currently we are searching for a Licensed Service Technician for our Southeast Calgary branch to work on their Afternoon shift.
As a Licensed Service Technician, you would be responsible for the maintenance, repairing and troubleshooting of company and customer equipment. Being a service technician at TEN you would work on various of equipment; from Dry Vans, Reefers, Heaters, Flat Beds, Chassis, specialized equipment haulers, livestock haulers, tankers and company owned service vehicle.
Requirements:
- Journeyman Transport Trailer Technician
- CVIP License (Preferred)
- Body Repair Experience (Preferred)
- Knowledge of shop safety principles and behaviours
- Interest in and aptitude for mechanical work
- Ability to assess, diagnosis and repair; ensure work on trailers is completed as ‘Quality work’
- Basic knowledge of ABS diagnostic software
- Good written and oral communication
- Computer skills, Microsoft Office 365; Enrich/ Mechanical Software an ( assets)
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Works well with others; team player
- Ability to lift up to 85 lbs
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, kneel, sit, bend down and reach up and talk or hear
- Frequently required to use hands to feel, handle or reach
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- May be exposed to noise, vibration, grease, oil, gasoline, exhaust fumes and odours
